Titus 1:5-9

Not sure why I blog so intermittently, I would be better off not even trying it would seem. Anyways here is a motion graphics piece I did in After Effects for Blue Ridge Community Church for a scripture reading. using Creative Commons Hi-Res photos from the NASA Hubble. I’m not completely satisfied with how the text turned out, but it worked ok for the element.

Music is by Judson Lee

Response

Branding for an 8-week series “Response” which will focus on worship and the things we think it is limited to vs the things that it could/should be/is.

Often when we think of what worship could be we think of singing only, but really there is a whole spectrum of ways for us to worship God that aren’t just limited to music.

The prophet Micah asked the age-old question, “With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God?” He follows with a list of possibilities such as burnt offerings of calves, rams, and “rivers of oil,” all foreign to our sense of worship. Micah ends with, “And what does the LORD require of you?” He then answers his own question with, “To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

So what is true worship? Is it offerings, sacrificial living, humility? Songs of praise and adoration?
