Blue Ridge Community Church supports a ministry in Nepal that houses refugee children from Tibet. As we focused on it this specific week, I was tasked to create a motion graphic to help communicate some basic facts about the state of unrest in Tibet as well as communicating the religious condition of the country.
Though it needed to be factual I wanted to be sure to be impacting and effective, while not being distracting. I stretch myself a bit into new areas creating the chromatic aberrations in the transitions as well as hard animating shapes with hold keyframes for some added visual interest. I didn’t just want it to “work” but I wanted it to have an impact on our audience to truly show them the need for the message of Jesus Christ in this region. I definitely enjoyed creating the score and audio tracks for this video spot as well.
