I’m Colin Harman.
It’s great to meet you.

Designing, creating, and strategizing is a worthwhile endeavor for me. Finding the right solution to a problem is one of the most fulfilling things to do. We should do that together sometime. Either way, I like to write here about things I care about, use, create, think, and do.

Besides pushing pixels, dabbling in photography, and some minor animation, I’m an avid reader, I like fonts, running, philosophy, board sports, and long walks with my incredible wife, Maria and my near-perfect dog, Barkley. Oh, and writing the occasional run-on sentence.

I started out life in an East Los Angeles suburb, then moved to Northern California with my family. Growing up, much to the shagrin of many adults in my life at the time, I drew in all my school books and dreamed of one day coloring cartoons for Disney©. I’m still a Disney & Pixar junkie and even though I can’t remember what I had for breakfast yesterday, my brain holds enough trivia about the Disney•Pixar empire to be considered what my therapist continues to deem as “borderline obsessive.”

In my experience, the creative process yields the best results when each individual is playing to their strengths. Together we'll make something neither one of us could have made on our own. We need each other. Let’s (stop) collaborate (and listen).
